Your Love Story, in the Heart of Nature

It started over 30 years ago, when Oak's father Peter set to work creating what is now one of the country's most renowned, independently owned garden centres. Famous for its high-quality plants, exceptional and friendly advice and curated country shop, people have been flocking to Preston Bissett Nurseries for decades.

Responding to the customers wishes - who, quite rightly, never wanted to leave - Oak expanded the nursery with the tipis, soon named The Garden Tipi, offering artisan coffee and a heavenly selection of sweet and savoury treats and deli.

Moving into 2023, the nurseries and The Garden Tipi have undergone another transformation, with the addition of the private tipi garden, separate entrance and parking. A beautiful and secluded wedding venue waiting for you here in Buckinghamshire.

Turning a Vision into Reality

While he might be easy-going, fond of good banter and fast cars, never underestimate the brains and muscle of The Garden Tipi's founder.

Building on his father's successful garden centre foundation, you will now find an award-winning Garden Design Team, café & deli, sculpture park, orchard, educational workshops & courses, interior country store and of course an ever-expanding plant selection at Preston Bissett Nurseries, all visualised, planned, executed and overseen by Oak.

His latest and most expansive project to date is The Garden Tipi, which he's purposefully designed to be the premier tipi wedding venue in Buckinghamshire.
